Elfie's Story

Elfie is a sleek, little, beauty with a shiny black coat, long legs, and the heart of a professional snuggler. She adores curling up with her people and is happiest when she can burrow deep into blankets like the cozy queen she is. Sweet, affectionate, and gentle, Elfie brings big love in a tiny package and is ready to be someone’s constant cuddle buddy.  Elfie is around 4.5 months old, dog friendly, and 7 lbs.

My daughter and I have been volunteering with Mile High since its beginning, mostly driving the rescue van to NM to help with transports. We connect with other rescue partners, helping these dogs get to CO and then to foster homes, vet care, and their forever homes. We get to spend time together and feel good about helping the pups.
