Jett's Story

Jett is the handsomest, 1 year old, labbish mix presently residing in 80503 — yet his ears, well, his ears hang out a couple counties over. They are wonderful ears, with a very loving personality, and can adjust their posture to best reflect their mood. While it’s true they belong to Jett, they indeed have a mind of their own. Jett, like his ears, is a very loving guy. He’s great with dogs, a joy on leash, and has a soft demeanor that makes him adapt easily in most situations once he feels safe. That being said, he would benefit from another friendly and confident dog in the home and calm or older kiddos. He’s the kind of guy that will never break your daughters heart – but doesn’t seem to get the girl.

My daughter and I have been volunteering with Mile High since its beginning, mostly driving the rescue van to NM to help with transports. We connect with other rescue partners, helping these dogs get to CO and then to foster homes, vet care, and their forever homes. We get to spend time together and feel good about helping the pups.
