Rusty's Story

Rusty is so fun! He is all puppy and needs to be provided with supervision and stimulation. He is house trained (on a schedule) crate trained, and learning basic manners and skills. He is food motivated and LOVES to play with other dogs. As a puppy, he needs structure, guidance and plenty of exercise. He is still learning that everything he encounters does not go in his mouth. Due to his activity level and size we are not recommending he live with babies or toddlers.

My daughter and I have been volunteering with Mile High since its beginning, mostly driving the rescue van to NM to help with transports. We connect with other rescue partners, helping these dogs get to CO and then to foster homes, vet care, and their forever homes. We get to spend time together and feel good about helping the pups.
