Ozzy! Please meet our handsome, playful boy, Ozzy! Ozzy is a 1 year old, pit mix that’s approx 50-60 lbs. He is a dog’s dog and the perfect companion for someone whose dog needs a play friend. He will thrive in a home that’s calmer on the human front but all about the doggies. Ozzy snuggles with his people once they win his trust, but patience is the name of the game for him. He’s house trained, uses a doggie door, and is crate trained too. Ozzy has even learned that taking walks with his pack is pretty fun!

My daughter and I have been volunteering with Mile High since its beginning, mostly driving the rescue van to NM to help with transports. We connect with other rescue partners, helping these dogs get to CO and then to foster homes, vet care, and their forever homes. We get to spend time together and feel good about helping the pups.
