Wilma (I've Already Found a Home)

Oh Wilma. Wilma is a 3 year old, Basset/Dachshund mix that’s joined us from Alice, TX. Wilma didn’t know much about the ways of the world when she first arrived into foster care. Given some time to adjust, she’s finding it quite nice. Wilma is skeptical of new dogs at first and takes a couple of days to fully warm up to them. She keeps to herself and asks for some space until then. Wilma is crate trained, too, which makes pack integration easier. We recommend a more mature, patient, household with other dogs and a fenced in yard for Wilma’s forever home.
