Speck is a true Colorado, adventure-seekers dream girl! She’s sleek at only 33 lbs and 8 months old, she loves water, ball is life, she’s friendly and outgoing with strangers, quick to learn, motivated by food, toys AND praise! Literally, what more could you ask for? Speck is great with dogs, she’s learning the basics of house & crate training while in foster care, too. She rides well in the car and is perfecting the art of polite leash walking. Sure, she’s a puppy so she’s not perfect, but she will be very soon. 😉. My daughter and I have been volunteering with Mile High since its beginning, mostly driving the rescue van to NM to help with transports. We connect with other rescue partners, helping these dogs get to CO and then to foster homes, vet care, and their forever homes. We get to spend time together and feel good about helping the pups.
