Rub-a-dub-dub, check out the Chihuahua we call Tubs! This adorable little cutie is 8 weeks old and ready to find his forever home! Tubs is in foster with dogs, cats, and kiddos and he’s loving it all! Tubs joined MHCR after he was surrendered from a hoarding house with a bunch of other chihuahuas and Chiweenie mixes. He came with a mama that had a litter of pups he was clearly much older than. It seemed she would accept him but before they even left Texas she decided he wasn’t her pup. So, this little orphan made the journey and joined a foster family with plenty of socialization opportunity! Now that he’s old enough, he’s ready to find his true human family now.

My daughter and I have been volunteering with Mile High since its beginning, mostly driving the rescue van to NM to help with transports. We connect with other rescue partners, helping these dogs get to CO and then to foster homes, vet care, and their forever homes. We get to spend time together and feel good about helping the pups.
