Waylon is worth a million bucks!
This happy guy is house trained, dog friendly, a sports fan, and is great with kiddos! Waylon is about 6 months old and found himself at a high intake shelter in Texas with his brothers and his mom. He’s in his teenage boy stage and can often be found chewing on things he shouldn’t. As such, a home that’s equipped for puppy antics is key. Waylon will thrive in a family that’s home often and can include him in their activities. His time at the shelter has given him a mild case of FOMO (fear of missing out) and he’d really like to see the world with his peeps. He would also make a great companion for a resident dog needing a friend. Waylon is working on his crate training and so far isn’t a huge fan, but he’s smart as a whip and is getting better each day now that the he’s settling in!

My daughter and I have been volunteering with Mile High since its beginning, mostly driving the rescue van to NM to help with transports. We connect with other rescue partners, helping these dogs get to CO and then to foster homes, vet care, and their forever homes. We get to spend time together and feel good about helping the pups.
