Gibby is a 9 month old, 40 lbs, male, Pit/Cattle Dog mix. He’s the perfect medium sized boy whom we expect to top our under 50 lbs. Gibby loves to play with doggie friends. He’s met a lot of canine companions and he does well with all of them! Gibby loves to chew bones, run zoomies in the yard, and play in the water. He’s a little shy when meeting new people, but once he loves you, you’re in his heart forever. He will quickly enjoy digging all of your couch blankets up and making a comfy, cozy, bed for the two of you to share. Gibby is crate trained and fully house trained. He’s looking for a multi-dog home with a fenced in yard. He is not a social butterfly but he does ok at the occasional brewery and he’s a CHAMP in the car. We suspect he would not enjoy a busy, chaotic home.

My daughter and I have been volunteering with Mile High since its beginning, mostly driving the rescue van to NM to help with transports. We connect with other rescue partners, helping these dogs get to CO and then to foster homes, vet care, and their forever homes. We get to spend time together and feel good about helping the pups.
