Boone is an absolutely stunning, 2-year-old, male, labradoodle. Boone is everything a doodle lover dreams of. He’s social, dog friendly, kid friendly, easy going, active but not hyper, loves adventures and car rides, is house trained, and isn’t much of a barker. He is presently in foster with other dogs of various sizes and is respectful of all of them. He also lives with a human toddler. Boone is approx 65 lbs. He has the tight curls of a poodle and his coat will undoubtedly require regular grooming. Boone was surrendered to a local shelter here in CO because his owners just “didn’t like him.” While he may not have realized it at the time, this was the best thing to ever happen to him. We are certain a forever home that ADORES him as much as we do is just around the corner!

My daughter and I have been volunteering with Mile High since its beginning, mostly driving the rescue van to NM to help with transports. We connect with other rescue partners, helping these dogs get to CO and then to foster homes, vet care, and their forever homes. We get to spend time together and feel good about helping the pups.
