Playful Poppy is a 1.5-2 year old, female, Schnoodle mix. This girl is very friendly and outgoing. She goes to the office with her foster mom and happily greets all the other employees at the fire station. Poppy is dog friendly and very food motivated. She enjoys playing with toys and does fairly well keeping herself busy, but she’d much rather be wrestling and playing with her humans or canine friends. Poppy carries on for a little bit when she’s first left alone. For this reason, we recommend a home without shared walls. Poppy is 13 lbs.

My daughter and I have been volunteering with Mile High since its beginning, mostly driving the rescue van to NM to help with transports. We connect with other rescue partners, helping these dogs get to CO and then to foster homes, vet care, and their forever homes. We get to spend time together and feel good about helping the pups.
