Where are the brindle pup lovers?! Poppy is ready for you! She’s around 2 years old was saved from a high kill shelter in Houston after being picked up as a stray. Poppy is a nice, medium-sized, girl who is working on gaining a little weight now that she has regular meals. She will be just about perfect once she hits 45 lbs. We think Poppy is a Plott hound/pittie type mixed dog. She is long, lanky, playful, and spring loaded! Her ‘zoomies’ are quite beautiful and entertaining to watch!
This girl loves every human she meets and is very dog friendly. She is adjusting well to a foster home with kids and other dogs and is doing well with her crate and house training. She is very smart. Poppy will be happy to go on whatever adventure her forever family can include her on and has a moderate energy level. We will require an home with a fenced yard for Poppy.
