Who doesn’t love a yellow lab?? This sweet girl is about 6 months old and she’s looking for her forever home. Yoko is the life of the party and can be found tossing a toy around to entertain herself if her canine foster siblings are tired out. And she has an epic cone head, which they say is a sign of intelligence! She’s joined a foster home with a toddler whom she adores and she’s caught on to house and crate training beautifully. She’s discovered her favorite place to hang out is at her foster mom’s feet while she cooks or snuggled on the couch next to her tiny human.

My daughter and I have been volunteering with Mile High since its beginning, mostly driving the rescue van to NM to help with transports. We connect with other rescue partners, helping these dogs get to CO and then to foster homes, vet care, and their forever homes. We get to spend time together and feel good about helping the pups.
