Meet Chungus!
He’s back in rescue but it’s NOT his fault. Chungus is a handsome 4-5-year-old Bulldog that was recently adopted with a big head, an even bigger heart, and a serious appreciation for the finer things in life—namely walks, people, and cozy couches. He found the perfect home until tragedy struck and now he’s back in rescue. His adoptive family wants everyone to know it’s not his fault and he’s truly a wonderful boy!
This sweet guy originally found himself in rescue after being picked up as a stray and sadly never reclaimed by the people listed on his microchip. Despite being let down in the past, Chungus hasn’t lost his love for humans. He absolutely adores his people and is happiest when he’s by your side, whether that’s going for a stroll around the neighborhood or snoozing on the couch after a long day.
Chungus has limited vision due to untreated chronic KCS (dry eye). He isn’t a big fan of taking eye drops so Chungus had a small procedure that implants medicine directly to his eyes. These implants last around 2 years, maybe longer! He navigates his world well and is always ready for his next adventure, especially if it involves water or a car ride. He’s a big fan!
He’s crate trained, enjoys his daily walks, and has excellent house manners. Chungus is good with most dogs. He enjoys playing but appreciates a dog that knows when it’s time for a good nap.
If you’re looking for a loyal, affectionate sidekick who will happily share your couch and fill your home with Bulldog charm, Chungus may be your perfect match. All he asks for is a soft place to land, a family to love, and a lifetime supply of snuggles. ❤️🐾
