Anna's Story

Anna is a precious, slightly shy, but oh so sweet, 3.5-4 month old, female, German Shepherd Dog/Standard Poodle mix. Due to her age and mixture of breeds, we cannot guarantee that she is hypoallergenic. What we can guarantee is you’re sure to fall madly in love with her at first meet! Anna is great with kiddos and other dogs. Her favorite is humans, though, hands down. She enjoys playing in the water with her human kiddos and has been hard at work practicing her leash skills in her back yard. Anna will make a wonderful addition to nearly any home. We do require a fenced in backyard for her.

My daughter and I have been volunteering with Mile High since its beginning, mostly driving the rescue van to NM to help with transports. We connect with other rescue partners, helping these dogs get to CO and then to foster homes, vet care, and their forever homes. We get to spend time together and feel good about helping the pups.
