Betty is a lovely sharpei mix (we suspect lab/sharpei) who is looking for her forever family! Betty is just under 2 years old and a medium size at about 48 pounds. She was saved from a high kill shelter in Houston after she was let down by humans, but that hasn’t changed her love for them. She is a very happy, joyful dog that wants to be friends with everyone we have seen her meet!
Betty has a very friendly and sweet disposition and has been a breeze to have in her foster home. She loves all the other dogs and humans including kids. She seems to be housetrained, is crate trained, likes car rides, walks decently on a leash, has moderate energy, is eager to please and treat motivated, etc. We can’t find anything not to like about Betty.
Betty had a mild heartworm infection upon entering the shelter – but she has been treated and is expected to have kicked those suckers to the curb.
