Say Cheese 🧀! This 4.5-month-old Heeler mix may have drawn a pretty rough hand at first, but he’s certainly making the best of it! Cheese had to have both eyes removed due to some unfortunate genetic issues, but he’s now living pain-free and is happy as a lark. And honestly, he doesn’t seem to think he’s missing out on a thing.
Cheese is incredibly adaptable and impressively quick to learn his surroundings. Give him a little time to map out his world, and he’s off and running! He’s playful, curious, snuggly, and just an all-around fantastic puppy. He’s wonderful with kids, great with other dogs, and we’d love to see him go to a home with a confident canine companion to show him the ropes and keep him company.
He’s also crate trained and catches on to a house-training routine quickly. Like any puppy, he’ll need continued training, patience, and plenty of opportunities to get into age-appropriate trouble.
Cheese doesn’t need eyes to see what a wonderful life he has ahead of him. He’s ready for a family who will embrace his differences, appreciate his ridiculously resilient spirit, and give him all the love a little guy like him deserves. ❤️
