We’d like to introduce the one, the only, Doc Holliday! He’s here with a message for you. Doc says “I’m your Huckleberry!” Boy, does he mean it! Doc is a very people oriented canine and your adventure, is his adventure. He’s game to go anywhere and do anything you’d like to do. Doc doesn’t like spending time alone, but he’s slowly warming up to the idea. He LOVES dog friends, zooming around the yard, and sometimes his nub wiggles so fast we think he might actually take flight! Doc is 60 lbs. He’s low like a basset with moves like a beagle. That’s the best we can come up with as far as a breed mix. Doc is approx 2 years old so he has tons of life and love ahead of him. He’s looking for a family that’s home often with another playful dog friend, and don’t forget a fenced in yard!

My daughter and I have been volunteering with Mile High since its beginning, mostly driving the rescue van to NM to help with transports. We connect with other rescue partners, helping these dogs get to CO and then to foster homes, vet care, and their forever homes. We get to spend time together and feel good about helping the pups.
