Loki's Story

Loki is a 1.5-2 year old, male, Boxer mix. He’s around 55 lbs. Loki joined MHCR after being up for euthanasia at a rural out of state shelter where space is always an issue. He was a tad shut down when he arrived, but he has blossomed into quite an amazing boy. Loki does well with other dogs. He’s a bit of a ladies man, but does well with male canine friends, as well. He loves to play fetch with his tennis ball, take walks, and especially loves car rides. Loki’s love language is time and affection so his forever human should be ready for lots of snuggles and kisses.

My daughter and I have been volunteering with Mile High since its beginning, mostly driving the rescue van to NM to help with transports. We connect with other rescue partners, helping these dogs get to CO and then to foster homes, vet care, and their forever homes. We get to spend time together and feel good about helping the pups.
