Frankie's Story

Friendly Frankie! This oh-so-handsome, 65-70 lbs boy is Frankie. Frankie is a well-adjusted young man whose fave pastimes include playing with canine friends, snuggling on the couch, and taking walks. Frankie is very smart and knows a number of commands. He even walks really well on a leash until those dang rabbits or squirrels show up. Frankie will enjoy a young, moderately active family with a fenced in yard. He’d do great with a canine siblings and older kiddos. He’s great with all kids but sometimes has a hard time controlling his excitement and may knock little ones over. Frankie is house AND crate trained.

My daughter and I have been volunteering with Mile High since its beginning, mostly driving the rescue van to NM to help with transports. We connect with other rescue partners, helping these dogs get to CO and then to foster homes, vet care, and their forever homes. We get to spend time together and feel good about helping the pups.
