Little Grasshopper, the cutest name for the cutest boy! Grasshopper is an 11 lbs, 18 month old, male, mixed breed babe. We suspect he’s a yorkie/maltese mix. He LOVES to snuggle. He LOVES to play. And, he LOVES humans. He’s basically just a happy little dude. Grasshopper is quiet, sweet, dog friendly, and walks well on a leash. He’s also crate trained and rides well in the car. He’s not fully house trained yet, but he’s well on his way. Grasshopper has a touch of little man syndrome and can get protective of his humans if he’s sitting on their lap or being held, for this reason we recommend kids age 10+. He’s otherwise a super sweet, highly lovable, adorable little dude. While we cannot guarantee he is hypoallergenic, he is low shed.

My daughter and I have been volunteering with Mile High since its beginning, mostly driving the rescue van to NM to help with transports. We connect with other rescue partners, helping these dogs get to CO and then to foster homes, vet care, and their forever homes. We get to spend time together and feel good about helping the pups.
