Harley's Story

Harley is a 1.5 year old, female, Aussie/Pyrenees mix. She’s fairly petite, at around 53 lbs. Harley is great with other dogs and her ideal home should have one or two for her to pal around with and learn from. She can be a little shy at first. She LOVES to snuggle up with her foster mom on the couch while she’s working or watching TV. She’s crate trained, seems house trained, and meets new people well. Harley prefers an adult only home or one with kids age 12+. She isn’t a fan of toddlers and young kiddos and the chaos that ensues.

My daughter and I have been volunteering with Mile High since its beginning, mostly driving the rescue van to NM to help with transports. We connect with other rescue partners, helping these dogs get to CO and then to foster homes, vet care, and their forever homes. We get to spend time together and feel good about helping the pups.
