Lexus is a ~57 pound pittie pup who is around 10-11 months old. She was saved from a high kill shelter in Houston. Lexus was starving in an emaciated, poor condition when she came to us. Her coat was terrible, you could see every bone in her body, and she was ravenous for anything she could swallow. It was heartbreaking. First, we tackled her intestinal parasites and worked to get her healthy. After numerous medical tests, supplements, and trial and error, she is doing quite well now. She does have a sensitive stomach, which is manageable, and she is a healthy, happy girl now.
Lexus exuberantly loves other dogs and humans and has a very friendly, sweet, and playful disposition. She has made great strides in crate and housetraining skills as well as leash and car riding skills. She is not the brightest dog ever 🤣, but makes up for it in eagerness and enthusiasm for learning and being included. She has no concept of personal space. So, if you have a bubble, please don’t apply. Lexus is a sponge and would love a family that will continue to work on training and socializing her and taking her on adventures.
