London's Story

London is a 2 year old, dog and kid friendly, Schnauzer. She’s a pretty, pretty, princess and likes to be treated accordingly. London uses a doggie door and loves to ride in the car. She seems to crate ok during the day but protests crating at night as she’d rather sleep in bed with her peeps. London is very driven by affection and has proven to be a wizard at trying to trip her human foster parents. Those not quick on their feet need not apply. Other than being super cute and seemingly house trained, she doesn’t seem to know many other rules — but she has proven to be motivated to learn!

My daughter and I have been volunteering with Mile High since its beginning, mostly driving the rescue van to NM to help with transports. We connect with other rescue partners, helping these dogs get to CO and then to foster homes, vet care, and their forever homes. We get to spend time together and feel good about helping the pups.
