Max (I've Already Found a Home)

Max is a very unique boy and no matter how we try to describe him it won’t do him justice. Max is only about 30 lbs. He has a deep, houndy bark and short little legs which makes us think he’s likely a Basset Hound mix. His fur, color pattern, and face have a more shepherd type appearance – but that just doesn’t fit his size! Whatever his mix, Max is a loyal, happy guy that wants a family of his own. He greets even strangers with affection and joy. He would do great in a home with another playful dog, but would also be more than happy to be the king of the castle. His ideal humans will be home often and/or include him in their outings. Max is good with kiddos and has nice home manners. He’s approx 1 year old.
