Our boy Rocky is the friendliest Dobie around! At 8 years old, you’d think he would be ready for a life of leisure, but that’s simply not his style. Rocky loves to play with dogs of all sizes. While other canines are his jam, he is not feline or small animal approved (oops). Rocky loves kiddos though and he’s super loyal to his humans. He loves car rides and walks, warm beds, snuggles, and he’s friendly to strangers, and he even uses a doggie door. Rocky’s past wasn’t super kind to him. He’s lived primarily outdoors (up until now) and he was even hit by a car as a young man. His humans didn’t seek treatment for him, so he has a slight swagger to his stride. Rocky is just under 60 lbs.

My daughter and I have been volunteering with Mile High since its beginning, mostly driving the rescue van to NM to help with transports. We connect with other rescue partners, helping these dogs get to CO and then to foster homes, vet care, and their forever homes. We get to spend time together and feel good about helping the pups.
