This stunner with the gorgeous eyes and sweetest personality is Roxie! She is a nice medium sized (40 lbs) pittie mix, around 3 years old. She was saved from a high volume shelter in Houston after being an unclaimed stray. She had excellent behavior notes in the shelter but hit the euthanasia list for space/volume.
Roxie is a pretty easy girl to have around in her foster home. She is on the shy, submissive side at first but quickly opens up. She is sweet with humans and seems to do well with other dogs. She is crate trained, seems fully housetrained, sleeps through the night, and has a good mix of ‘chill’ and playfulness. She LOVES snuggles and pets and requests lots of them in her forever home. She is still getting braver about going to new places and so would appreciate a family who allows her to decompress on her own terms while she is settling in. Roxie is clearing a low grade heartworm infection and is a healthy, loving girl ready for a forever home.
