Rufus the Comeback Kid! Rufus has already beaten the odds. He came into a high-kill shelter in Arkansas where his three kennel mates weren’t as lucky, but Rufus held on, waiting for his chance. At just 3-4 years old, this American Bulldog has spent most of his life in a garage, yet his heart is wide open to love.
Despite his rough start, Rufus is a true social butterfly. He adores people (kids included), loves other dogs, and even tested well with cats! At intake he was just 52 lbs, skin and bones, but with good food and care he’ll soon fill out to his healthy 65 lbs.
