Storm's Story

Storm is a handsome, young, Golden Retriever mix. This happy guy is 8 months old. Storm is a very friendly and outgoing pup with both humans and other dog friends. He LOVES to wrestle with his canine siblings and toss toys all around. Storm is working on his house training, however he uses a doggie door and, if reminded, he does fairly well remaining accident free. Storm is crate trained, too. He is looking for a home with a fenced in yard, no shared walls (he’s an alert barker), and a playful canine companion.

My daughter and I have been volunteering with Mile High since its beginning, mostly driving the rescue van to NM to help with transports. We connect with other rescue partners, helping these dogs get to CO and then to foster homes, vet care, and their forever homes. We get to spend time together and feel good about helping the pups.
