Tank's Story

Tank is a very appropriately named boy! At 80+ lbs and 5-6 years old, this boy lives up to his name. Tank is great with dogs and kiddos (although he’s pretty big so maybe small kids aren’t a great idea). He’s looking for a home with a doggie pool, some tennis balls, and a human committed to helping him drop a few pounds. Don’t be fooled, he’s not obese, he’s naturally a big dude, but trimming off some Covid weight never hurt any of us. Tank has some fairly typical Bulldog issues, like allergies. His adoptive home should be familiar and experienced with the breed.

My daughter and I have been volunteering with Mile High since its beginning, mostly driving the rescue van to NM to help with transports. We connect with other rescue partners, helping these dogs get to CO and then to foster homes, vet care, and their forever homes. We get to spend time together and feel good about helping the pups.
