Wrigley is a 12 week old, Pyrenees mix looking for just the right home! This happy, playful guy originally entered a local CO shelter at around 8 weeks old. He was a stray and it’s unclear exactly what his background was. Wrigley was scared at the shelter. They contacted us for some assistance getting him into a foster home so he could learn from other dogs. We’ve found him to be super smart, somewhat aloof, and independent as most Pyrenees are. Wrigley does well with his foster canine siblings and will benefit from another dog in the home to learn from. He is crate trained and does well with his house training when kept on a regular schedule. Wrigley needs to dine and does so beautifully in his crate. We suspect food wasn’t readily available for him as a young pup and he’s learned he needs to protect what’s his. Wrigley is looking for an adult only home or with kids age 12 plus. Ideally his humans will have prior guardian breed experience and will have an affinity for strong willed pups.
