Winnie is a playful, fun-loving, 21 lbs, Aussiedoodle/terrier mix (we think). Winnie loves life! She’s great with other dogs, greets strangers with a grin, is affectionate, cuddly, and spunky! She’s the perfect go-anywhere size for the avid Colorado outdoorsman. Winnie’s coat is super soft with some wirey spots (mostly around her face). She does shed some, but minimally. Winnie is approx 9-12 months old. She was surrendered to a rescue in NM in need of parvo treatment, which she came out of with flying colors. Winnie is now ready for her big break in finding her forever family!

My daughter and I have been volunteering with Mile High since its beginning, mostly driving the rescue van to NM to help with transports. We connect with other rescue partners, helping these dogs get to CO and then to foster homes, vet care, and their forever homes. We get to spend time together and feel good about helping the pups.
