This handsome boy is Archer! Archer is a 6-month-old, male, tri-pawed, Great Dane mix. He sustained a very bad break to his back right leg that led to an awful infection. Finally the vet was able to convince the owners to surrender him to get the care he needed. Archer’s leg couldn’t be saved, but his life certainly was. He’s a happy, playful guy that’s adjusted to life on 3 limbs beautifully. He’s great with dogs and friendly to everyone he meets. Archer is crate trained and just about fully house trained. Archer even lives with feline friends and he’s curious but friendly towards them. Don’t let this guy pass you by! He’s the best!!

My daughter and I have been volunteering with Mile High since its beginning, mostly driving the rescue van to NM to help with transports. We connect with other rescue partners, helping these dogs get to CO and then to foster homes, vet care, and their forever homes. We get to spend time together and feel good about helping the pups.
