Cutie Chloe is a 4 year old, French Bulldog. She joined MHCR from a high intake shelter in Texas where she was picked up as a stray. She is a loyal, dog friendly girl and while she takes a bit to warm up, she is affectionate and loving. We suspect Chloe wasn’t given many reasons to trust humans before she came to MHCR. She struggles with meeting new people and will require a savvy home that is ok confining her when guests come over. She will enjoy a home with a fenced in yard and a doggie companion (we prefer male due to her breed, however she’s done well with both sexes). Her humans should be adults and lead a relatively quiet life.

My daughter and I have been volunteering with Mile High since its beginning, mostly driving the rescue van to NM to help with transports. We connect with other rescue partners, helping these dogs get to CO and then to foster homes, vet care, and their forever homes. We get to spend time together and feel good about helping the pups.
