This beautiful, fawnequin girl is Cookie and boy is she sweet. Cookie came to MHCR as an owner surrender from El Paso, TX. She and her sister were adopted from the shelter together when they were only 3-4 months old. Now, they aren’t quite 2 years old, yet and have found themselves in need, once again. Cookie is about 75 lbs. She’s great with other dogs (large and small) and we think it would help her very much to have another canine friend in her forever home. Our suspicion is that Cookie has never lived inside a home until now. She’s very well mannered (house trained), and loves sofa time and snuggles, but the normal household sounds startle her a bit. Cookie first warms up to the woman and older children within her home. She’s slower to come around to men. Cookie is crate trained, too. Her forever home must have a 5-6 ft fence and be feline free.
