DOINK: A Frenchie. A Frog. A Full-Time Complaint Department.
Doink is a 2-year-old Frenchie who has recently discovered that life is pretty fantastic when you can actually breathe. After coming from a high-intake shelter, Doink had his nose and throat surgically improved, and now he’s ready to put those newly upgraded airways to work. Mostly by singing.
Doink LOVES people. In fact, “personal space” is a concept he has rejected entirely. If his human is nearby, he’s happy. If his human leaves the room, however, prepare yourself for the froggiest, grumbliest, most pathetic Frenchie opera you have ever heard. He sings. He complains. He makes noises that suggest he has been personally betrayed by the entire household.
And crates?
Absolutely not.
Doink considers crates to be the ultimate form of betrayal and will make his opinion known with the vocal commitment of a man defending his last meal. He would much rather be hanging out with his people, thank you very much.
The good news is that Doink is house trained and dog friendly, so beneath all that snorting, singing, complaining, and general Frenchie nonsense is a very good boy.
What he wants is simple: people. He wants to be with them, near them, preferably touching them, and definitely aware of their whereabouts at all times.
If you want a Frenchie who will love you unconditionally, follow you everywhere, make bizarre noises, and provide a running commentary on every decision you make, Doink is accepting applications.
He comes with a recently upgraded respiratory system and a lifetime supply of opinions. ❤️
