Eddie is looking for a home! This playful, 3 year old, pit mix weighs in at 65 lbs. He’s a total beefcake! Eddie joined MHCR as a transfer from another rescue in Texas. He was found as a stray and had heartworms. He completed his treatment and we are happy to report that he was retested once he arrived in CO and it seems he did NOT bring any of his worm friends with him! Eddie is great with dogs. He enjoys plenty of playtime and is keen on reading other dogs signals and leaving them alone when asked. We request his humans be strong leaders to help him with his boundaries (he has none). Eddie is not for the fragile or frail. He’s a bulldozer trying to live his best life!

My daughter and I have been volunteering with Mile High since its beginning, mostly driving the rescue van to NM to help with transports. We connect with other rescue partners, helping these dogs get to CO and then to foster homes, vet care, and their forever homes. We get to spend time together and feel good about helping the pups.
