Koda's Story

Koda is a social, sweet, and confident little dude, not to mention super smart to boot! At 4.5 months old he already knows sit, paw, and down. Koda is doing fantastic on his potty training and is now consistently going to the door to alert that he needs to be let out! While he is dog friendly and enjoys playing with other dogs, Koda is a people’s dog and just wants to be with his peeps! He would do best with someone who works from home or is home often as Koda does have some separation anxiety. If you’re looking for constant companionship and an adventure buddy, he’s the guy for you!

My daughter and I have been volunteering with Mile High since its beginning, mostly driving the rescue van to NM to help with transports. We connect with other rescue partners, helping these dogs get to CO and then to foster homes, vet care, and their forever homes. We get to spend time together and feel good about helping the pups.
