Maxwell is proof that a second chance can change everything. This handsome 10-month-old English Bulldog came to us needing a little extra help — his cherry eye, entropion, and severely elongated soft palate made life very uncomfortable. After surgery and lots of love, Maxwell is thriving and finally getting to enjoy life the way every puppy should.
Now that he can breathe easy, Maxwell’s personality is really shining. He’s now enjoying life rather than trying to survive it. He’s a vivacious, playful, goofy boy who loves other dogs and is always ready for fun. Whether he’s bouncing around the yard, wrestling with canine friends, or snuggling up after playtime, Maxwell is just happy to be part of the action. His ideal home is with a human seeking a shadow (with him being the shadow, of course).
He’s crate trained, appears house trained when kept on a schedule, and has wonderful house manners — no destructive behavior here. Maxwell is the kind of dog who will keep you laughing with his silly bulldog antics while also melting your heart with his sweet, affectionate nature.
