Phabulous Phillipe is now ready to find his home! This 3 year old, 13 lbs, Bichon Frise is nothing short of amazing. Phil came to MHCR from Roswell, NM. He entered care with what appeared to be a prior injury to one of his eyes. After getting it removed, he’s all healed up now and ready to find his place! Phillipe is a sweet, sweet, boy. His fur is what I imagine a pillow of clouds feels like. He’s so soft. He’s awesome with dog friends and although he’s crate trained, sometimes he can complain about it a little at first so we recommend a home without shared walls. Phillipe walks well on a leash and enjoys car rides.

My daughter and I have been volunteering with Mile High since its beginning, mostly driving the rescue van to NM to help with transports. We connect with other rescue partners, helping these dogs get to CO and then to foster homes, vet care, and their forever homes. We get to spend time together and feel good about helping the pups.
