Sage (adoptable)

Sage is a stunning, 2.5 year old, female, pit mix. Sage loves walks, camping, hiking, and playing with toys. She’s dog friendly, too! Sage is sensitive to the energy of others around her and would, therefore, do best with an easy going yet playful male canine companion. She likes her humans to be low-key as well, so we are requesting any children in the home be at least 15+ years old. Sage is house trained AND crate trained. She utilizes her crate as a safe resting place when things get too busy around her current home for her liking. Sage also knows some commands and loves to show new humans her fave dog toys when she’s first meeting them. Sage loves to use food puzzles when she eats her meals as this helps engage her brain. Her trainer says she’s genius material so it’s important her new family keeps her young mind at work. Her ideal home will be active, provide predictability and structure, and plenty of TLC! Sage’s ideal weight is 45-50 lbs.
