Sully's Story

What’s happy, jolly, playful, and full of love? Sully! This gorgeous, 80-ish lbs, Shepherd mix boy is Sully and he’s looking for a home. Sully is from the streets of Amarillo, TX where he was picked up as a stray. Now that he’s joined a foster family in CO we’ve seen what a true gem he really is. Sully is an active boy that will thrive in a home with another playful dog and humans that enjoy taking walks, playing fetch, and hanging with their canines. He’s house trained and has nice home manners, but good luck keeping him off the couch. Sully is approx 2 years old.

My daughter and I have been volunteering with Mile High since its beginning, mostly driving the rescue van to NM to help with transports. We connect with other rescue partners, helping these dogs get to CO and then to foster homes, vet care, and their forever homes. We get to spend time together and feel good about helping the pups.
