Oh sweet Ziggy! Ziggy is a 2 year old chihuahua/pit mix (we think). She’s approx 26 lbs. Ziggy joined MHCR from a small, rural shelter in New Mexico where she was picked up as a stray. Ziggy is a mama’s girl. Or a daddy’s girl. Or even a brother’s/sister’s girl. She just wants to snuggle the days away and hang out with her peeps. She’s house trained, dog friendly, and rides well in a car. Ziggy sustained an injury to her eye prior to entering MHCR. Due to the severity of the injury, Ziggy needed to have her eye removed to alleviate her pain. She’s on the mend now and will be ready to go to her forever home very soon. Her ideal home will have humans that love affectionate dogs and are around often to spoil her rotten! Ziggy has not been directly tested with young children, however, we suspect she would do great!
