Frida (I've Already Found a Home)

Meet Frida! This little tripod is approx 2 years old. Frida came to MHCR from a high intake/high kill shelter in Texas. She had sustained a severely broken leg and required an amputation. As if that wasn’t bad enough, she is also heartworm positive. Frida has completed her heartworm treatment and is ready to find her forever home. She’s great with kiddos and loves the company of other dogs (of all sizes). She may look like she’s in that smart-alecky tongue out phase, but we promise, that’s just how she is! Frida is such a versatile girl and would make a great companion to humans, canines, or both. She uses a doggie door, too! Frida is 41 lbs. She will require a follow-up heartworm test mid-fall.
