Sage – the oversized lap dog! This sweet girl is as sweet and playful as she is beautiful. She loves to be with her human and will sit on your lap if you let her, but she is also content with just sitting next to you and getting all the pets. Sage has lots of playful energy throughout the day and loves long walks, chasing balls and chewing sticks. She is fairly skittish and gets spooked at loud noises and fast movements, so a home with older kiddos is preferred. Sage would love a home with a big yard and another dog to play with. She is cat friendly, house-trained, and walks well on a leash. She is not a big fan of her crate, though. Sage will make a great companion for a variety of homes! She is 53 lbs and approx 10-11 months old.

My daughter and I have been volunteering with Mile High since its beginning, mostly driving the rescue van to NM to help with transports. We connect with other rescue partners, helping these dogs get to CO and then to foster homes, vet care, and their forever homes. We get to spend time together and feel good about helping the pups.
