Sweet Shaggy is a little Chihuahua mix looking for her forever home. Shaggy is 10-11 weeks old now. She traveled to CO all the way from Houston, TX in hopes of meeting her forever family. Shaggy and her litter mates entered rescue in pretty rough shape, but they’re fattening up and growing in their coats quite beautifully! Shaggy is in foster with teenaged kiddos, cats, and other dogs. She’s a playful girl ready for the love of a forever family.

My daughter and I have been volunteering with Mile High since its beginning, mostly driving the rescue van to NM to help with transports. We connect with other rescue partners, helping these dogs get to CO and then to foster homes, vet care, and their forever homes. We get to spend time together and feel good about helping the pups.
